Why is the shrinkage rate important?

Yes. WPC wall sidings are designed for outdoor environments. They are water-resistant, moisture-resistant, rot-proof, and termite-resistant, making them suitable for exterior walls, fences, balconies, and building façades.

Will WPC Wall Sidings fade or age over time?

Slight and natural color fading may occur during the initial period of outdoor exposure. This is normal for WPC materials. After stabilization, the color remains consistent and does not affect performance or structural strength.

Will WPC Wall Sidings warp or crack?

Not under proper installation.
To ensure stability:

A joist/subframe system is required
Expansion gaps must be reserved for thermal movement
Panels should not be fixed directly onto uneven surfaces

Most deformation issues are caused by incorrect installation rather than the material itself.

Is a substructure (joist system) required for installation?

Yes. WPC wall sidings must be installed with a joist or subframe system.
The substructure:
Ensures surface flatness
Provides structural support
Allows ventilation and drainage behind the sidings

Can WPC Wall Sidings be installed DIY?
